The flash alter ego
After Barry Allen, the Flash, has reset the Flashpoint timeline, Savitar starts handing meta-human powers to those who had it during Flashpoint. Through Albert, Savitar sets in motion an elaborate plan to escape the Speed Force. As his imprisonment prevents him from arriving on Earth-1 in the flesh, Savitar uses the Philosopher's Stone, to which he is bound, to take control over Julian Albert, creating the split personality Alchemy in the man.
Savitar also intends to stop Barry before he can imprison him in the future, while also recreating the circumstances that led to his creation. Savitar returns to Central City in 2016 to take revenge on Barry and the entire Team Flash, whom he holds responsible for his banishment. However, before his imprisonment, Savitar manages to split up Team Flash and kill Iris West, thus making him a more personal foe to Barry than some of his other foes. After several battles with Barry, Savitar was imprisoned in the Speed Force by Tracy Brand, a scientist who developed a "Speed Force bazooka". To this end, he created his own futuristic armor and became Savitar, the very villain that indirectly created himself. This remaining remnant was shunned by Team Flash due to not being their Barry despite knowing everything that he does and feeling everything that he once felt, was left broken and alone until he decided to take revenge on "the real Barry" by any means necessary. 3 Powers, Abilities, Equipment, & WeaknessĬreated by Barry Allen/The Flash to battle Savitar after the creation of Flashpoint, Barry's time remnants were all killed by the armored villain, except for one.Whilst possessing Julian Albert when becoming "Alchemy", he is portrayed by Tom Felton, who also played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise and Dodge Landon in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Whilst armored, he is portrayed by stuntman Andre Tricoteux in his metallic suit and is voiced by Tobin Bell, who also played Peter Kingsley in 24 and John Kramer in the Saw franchise. In his true form, he is portrayed by starring cast member Grant Gustin, who also portrayed Sebastian Smythe in Glee.
He desires to destroy the original Barry Allen and relieve himself of pain by ascending to godhood. Upon being rejected by his friends after his failure to help Team Flash defeat Savitar and for not being "the true Barry Allen", the time remnant travelled to ancient times to obtain the Philosopher's Stone and become Savitar himself, creating the false legend of Savitar being the first Speedster.

Savitar, also referred to as Alchemy, the Future Flash and the self-proclaimed God of Speed, is a major antagonist in the TV series The Flash. ~ Savitar finally revealing his true identity, and his most famous line.
at the moment.Like I told you from the beginning. His story arc in Zack Snyder’s Justice League made me excited to see more of him in the DCEU, but that may not happen now, given Ray Fisher’s understandable beef with Warner Bros.
The flash alter ego movie#
You know, at this point, a cameo by Christian Bale as Batman is more likely than Cyborg, whose planned Flash movie appearance was cut, which is a shame. I mean, if we are going to have Michael Keaton from 1989’s Batman in the same movie as Batfleck, why not let the star of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy reprise one of his most famous characters? The only thing stopping him that I could think of is that the Oscar-winner is already returning to the comic book movie genre as Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder for the MCU, but director and The Suicide Squad cast member Taika Waititi would be open to letting him go for a one-day cameo at least, right? With all this talk about the multiverse in the Flash movie and the potential it creates for a variety of different characters in a variety of different cinematic universes to appear, I am surprised there are not more people wondering if Christian Bale would be interested in showing up.
